Welcome and Hafa Adai

Welcome to my blog. It’s aptly named because, quite frankly, I really can’t believe I’m blogging.

But I’ve just started completed a Master’s degree program in library and information science.  The first assignment in my first class required that I create a blog.

So here it is.

Six years later, my blog is still up — though I’ve admittedly neglected it shamefully.  I can’t blame the work-school-home juggle anymore, since I’ve just completed my last class, and am awaiting official notification of graduation.

I can, however, post more often, now that I have so much free time on my hands.  I’ll be sharing random thoughts about my new status as an official Librarian, books I’m reading, issues I have with grammar and punctuation, and very likely, musings about life in my island home.  There’s a good chance that I’ll be posting photos too.  Drop by anytime.

Thanks for visiting.

  1. Congrats on keeping your blog going, even past your project. It is absolutely ok to blog on and off: Many of us do. There are times where I neglect my blog for weeks before coming back and catching up with everything. I like it because it is not like typical social media that dies off as soon as you miss a few days. Nice to meet you.

  2. My story of writing a blog is similar to yours. It started as a class assignment and then I got to learn more about websites and how they work and it kind of stuck. So here I am now. Blogging!

  3. Congratulations to you. I too am guilty for leaving my blog neglected at times. Let’s tunnel through and continue to do what we love. I enjoyed reading this. 😊
